We discussed the anchoring and tendering operation for Easter Island this morning.  Even though we don’t as yet know what the weather will be like, we can discuss all scenarios of what is required and when.

During my frequent walks around the ship, it is always the same question, “are we going to make it?” are the words on everyone’s lips.  This is, without doubt, one of the highlights of the cruise and as long as I can do it safely, it shall come to pass.

I took my camera with me as I visited some areas not usually seen my guests, others in the photos are of course in public areas.

Another cocktail party this evening and then some more reading, I’m trying to improve my photography; in fact, I attended one of our guest speaker’s presentations this afternoon,  David Smith on ‘Getting creative-photography tip for cruisers’.  I found it very interesting and am itching to try some of his techniques.
