Sydney Day 2.

Having shifted berth on the evening of day 1, we spent our 2nd day on berth 4.  We have had to shift on almost every visit and it is because Customs and Immigration have their offices in the Cruise Terminal; if another ship arrives, then go to the Cruise terminal and we get a tent 🙂

I had the morning and part of the afternoon ashore with K1, taking the shuttle bus to Darling Harbour and then getting a ferry around to Circular Quay, handy for the “Rocks”, a quaint shopping area with Cafes, Hotels and Stalls, lots of them 😕

Arriving at Circular Quay ferry terminal, we pass the “Ruby Princess”, having docked that morning, she was disembarking guests and then would embark more, leaving that evening.

I write as we transit the Great Barrier Reef area; relatively wide on the south-east section, making our way towards Townsville tomorrow.  We have been in a gale since yesterday afternoon, up to 50 kt winds and 4 metre/13 feet seas and it is slowly abating now and much more ‘comfortable’.

A medley of command, travel and family
