Dear readers, this post has taken me almost an hour to get on paper. We have been without satellite communications for 24 hours; the South America satellite is low on the horizon and blocked by our funnels. As a consequence, I have been ‘weaving’ along our intended track, putting the satellite either on our port or starboard quarter and regaining a modicum of signal. The challenge is that it is very weak, each time I have tried to write this and let you know, we lose it.
Optimistically, we will soon be in the Pacific satellites footprint and normal service will resume I can tell you, briefly, that my two left feet functioned to some degree and the Black and Silver ball was a huge success, photos should follow when I can download them. Until then I have put in a ‘reminder’ to tell you about the Aida Grunsworthy Dance formation team, Way back in the 70’s I had the (dubious) privilege of being a member.
I must get this online, before I lose the signal, (again), until later……
