Voyage 368

‘Tis the season to be foggy, tra-la-la-la.  I am being plagued by the stuff; most of the way south from Ketchikan, in the Puget Sound, (even docking in Seattle), in the Juan de Fuca Straits, off the west coast of Vancouver island and, this morning, all the way up the Gastineau Channel, on approach to Juneau.

The 17th was actually Indonesian Independence day, however we were unable to celebrate that day, it was turn-round in Seattle and so it was Monday when we had our ceremony; the raising of their flag, a wonderful meal and a party to finish it off.

I write on a sunny day, in Juneau.  Tomorrow we’re in Sitka.  I have had major challenges with my site and for a few days, could not even access it.  It seems to be related to scheduled maintenance  on my host server.  Well, I got here eventually and I hope you do too.
